December's Tea and Truth

The 821 Project hosted a very successful Tea and Truth on December 14th at the McKinley Alumni Center. We discussed building multicultural coalitions and collaborations in the Greater Baton Rouge area and ended on an empowering note. Attendees consisted of activists, educators, students, community organizers and environmental conservationists.

We would like to thank those who attended as well as the McKinley Alumni Center for allowing us to use their space.

Our next Tea and Truth will be hosted on January 18, 2017 at the Main Library from 6:30-8:30PM in Room 102.
