Join us for an encore presentation of our "Global Citizenship For African American Children" workshop! This workshop was first presented at the 47th Annual National Black Child Development Institute Conference in Atlanta, Georgia this month. Global citizenship refers to a connection to not only one’s city, state, or country, but to the world at large. As our communities become increasingly globalized, African American children and young adults must have access to opportunities for global citizenship education. Women Lead With Love: Educating For Social Change

In celebration of Women's Week, The 821 Project is hosting an interactive workshop for women seeking to facilitate education for social change. This workshop will explore what education for social change looks like and how women can promote positive change and inclusion in the classroom and beyond.
