Our book-centered discussions educate the community on social justice related topics and multicultural perspectives through the literary arts. Whether it is a book of contemporary poetry or a photo collection, we choose literature that either transports our community to different parts of the world or calls to their attention the different inequities and injustices that exist in our local, national and global communities.

While a book is the main focus of our discussion, our book discussions are not the same as a book club. We pull from the themes and topics of a selected book for the discussion. Both those who have and have not read the selected books are invited to attend these discussions.
