Our understandings--and misunderstandings--of what it means to belong to a certain ethnic or national group are creating barriers between our community members, locally, nationally and globally. How can we break these barriers while addressing the increased prejudice and violence towards people based on their ethnicity or national identity?

Join The 821 Project on Wednesday, September 12, 2018, from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM, at Goodwood Main Library as we explore "Ethnicity and Nationality." September's conversation topics will include the differences between race, ethnicity and nationality, how it intersects with other forms of social identity, and local and global issues connected to ethnicity and national identity.
