UPDATED: This list has been updated to include Hurricanes Katia, Irma and Maria, the earthquakes in Mexico, and the tragic shooting massacre in Las Vegas.
These past six weeks have been tragic as it relates to natural and human disasters. Hurricanes and earthquakes have decimated the Western Hemisphere, wiping out communities or leaving the most marginalized extremely vulnerable and despondent. In Las Vegas, a mass shooting has left dozens dead and hundreds injured.

Mexico Earthquake and Hurricane Relief
Project Paz- An nonprofit organization that helps Latino chilldren
Topos- Topos is a Mexican rescue brigade that was formed after the 1985 earthquake in Mexico City. For those fluent in Spanish, you can donate directly to rescue team via their website.

United For Puerto Rico- The First Lady of Puerto Rico has created a fund to provide hurricane victims.

South Texas Human Rights Center- An organization that advocates for immigrant families living in south Texas, specifically those who live along the Texas-Mexico border.
Texas Diaper Bank- Provides emergency diaper kits for babies, seniors and individuals with disabilities

UNICEF- The United Nations Children's Fund has an emergency relief fund designed to help children impacted by disasters such as the flooding in Mumbai.
