Voices: Cultural Bridges In A Time Of Troubled Water

Voices will be hosted on January 14th, 2017 from 10AM to 2PM at the TJ Jemison Baptist Student Center at Southern University. This event will be one in a series of events of the same name sponsored by The 821 Project, and will be hosted quarterly throughout the 2017 year. The first of this series will be hosted on January 14th, 2017.

Our Voices series connects members of south Louisiana to one another and celebrates the diversity of the region. The January event will feature an interactive dialogue session with those working towards improving the local community in the fields of activism, education, faith, art and other sectors as well as a keynote lunch. We hope that by attending this event, participants have opportunities to develop interpersonal and intercultural relationships with one another and learn more about what others are doing to promote inclusivity, social justice and multiculturalism in south Louisiana.

Registration is free for everyone! Please preregister on our website.
